This is a shot of Tommy's 40 Ford just before he picked it up. Unfortunately there are not a lot of pictures of this car because I feel it came a long way.
The car looks very nice sitting in our lot.
We rewired this car with a Centech wiring kit . . . of which I have been unable to find pictures of. Once we removed all of the wires off the firewall, we welded all of the holes closed. A little bodywork and primer, then it is ready for paint.
This is a shot after the first coat of paint.
Multiple coats are applied and we are ready to dress up the engine.
This a shot of what the engine looked like before adding some upgrades.
The car received a new Walker radiator, Edelbrock intake/carb, valve covers , Billet Specialties brackets, Tuff Stuff chrome alternator, etc. It looks much better.
We had to add support for the fenders and also added a dual flow finned trans cooler. We aligned the hood and it all fits very nice.
Tommy's original interior was drab and needed an update. The bench seat needed to have the springs re-tie and new fillers added to firm it up. We had some nice gray tweed laying around so we reupholstered the interior. We also installed a new Flaming River polished stainless column.
The car definately made a change for the better.
